A Manhattan perspective.

Alexis Sophia Design is a residential interior design studio led by Alexis Sophia Tinaz. Our work begins with the character of a home and the people who live in it.

We work with clients, architects and builders on renovation interiors, and shape rooms through furniture, lighting, rugs, textiles, art and objects. The aim is a cohesive home that feels collected, comfortable and unmistakably personal.

With experience in Upper West Side and Harlem brownstones and Manhattan apartment combinations, Alexis brings a thoughtful eye to the details that make city living work beautifully.

A thoughtful way forward.

Every home has its own starting point. Our approach connects the big picture with the details that make it personal.

01 · Discover

We begin with your home, your priorities and the way you want to live. Share the spaces you are considering, your timing and the ideas that are important to you.

02 · Shape

Architecture, materials, lighting and furnishings are considered together. Collaboration with your architect and builder helps bring a cohesive point of view to the home.

03 · Refine

Texture, art, objects and the finishing layers bring rooms into focus. Each choice contributes to a home with warmth, purpose and enduring character.
